Safe at Home for Charity

Nov 24, 2019

A retired custodian from the Wake County Public School System, Charity lives in the Wake Forest home where she grew up. When she took ownership of the house 15 years ago, it needed tremendous work due to termite damage. The cost of those repairs added to basic living expenses have made additional home maintenance and repair cost prohibitive in the years since. Charity found herself needing help from her neighbors.

With financial and volunteer support from Concord Hospitality Enterprises, we painted the exterior, installed a new storm door, repaired porch railings, cleaned the yard, cleaned and and painted the shed, cleared gutters, and extended the downspout drain to allow for proper drainage away from her home.

Thank you to our friends with Concord Hospitality for helping us keep Charity Safe at Home!
